Provided is a method for transmitting control information in a carrier aggregation system. The method comprises the following steps: transmitting bandwidth information over a component carrier; generating downlink control information containing an additional indication field and an information field; mapping the downlink control information to any one unit from among units containing a plurality of predetermined different bit sizes in accordance with the bandwidth information; and transmitting the downlink control information mapped to any one unit. The information field is any one of a plurality of control information formats applicable to the component carrier. The additional indicating field contains information for discriminating to which control information format from among the plurality of control information formats the information field corresponds. According to the present invention, the number of times of blind decoding performed by a terminal can de reduced in a carrier aggregation system. As a result, power consumption can be reduced and decoding speed can be improved in the terminal.
