PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient fuel cell that is cascaded for improved efficiency while cascading (subtrahend-multistage serializing) a method for ventilating fuel gas inside the fuel cell and controlling the flowing direction of the fuel gas in a plurality of cell groups.SOLUTION: The fuel cell 20 includes stacked cells formed by stacking a plurality of cells each having electrodes and interconnectors on both sides of a solid electrolyte. The stacked cells have the partitioned cell groups 21, 22, 23. The cell groups 21, 22, 23 have a first fuel passage and a plurality of second fuel passages. The direction of fuel gas G flowing in the first fuel passage is opposite to the direction of fuel gas flowing in the second fuel passages. The fuel gas G is branched from the first fuel passage and introduced into the plurality of second fuel passages. |
