PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding member in which a base material can easily be provided thereon with a resin layer less likely to be peeled from the base material, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The sliding member 11 is constructed of a base material 12, an impregnated layer 13 provided by forming depressions 15 on the surface portion 12b of the sliding side of the base material 12 and a resin layer 14 impregnated in and covering the impregnated layer 13. |
