PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder resin composition for a nonaqueous secondary battery electrode which can bring about a nonaqueous secondary battery excellent in output characteristics and cycle characteristics in a low temperature.SOLUTION: The binder resin composition for a nonaqueous secondary battery electrode contains a cellulose system polymer or its metal slat (A) and at least one kind (B) selected from a group consisting of a hydroxy acid, a poly (hydroxy acid), and these metal salts, and the (B) composition is 1-99% mass% with respect to 100 mass% of the binder resin composition. This relates to an anode for a nonaqueous secondary battery anode using the binder resin composition and to a nonaqueous secondary battery having this anode, especially a lithium ion secondary battery.
