PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To soften stress of a subject in an elevating process of the cuff pressure in a blood pressure measuring devices.SOLUTION: A blood-pressure meter detects plethysmogram during a period in which a pressurizing means pressurizes a cuff. An envelope when an amplitude value of a pulse wave calculated by a calculating means is arranged conforming to the corresponding cuff pressure is obtained. The maximum blood pressure value of the subject is determined based on the amplitude value until the envelope shows the maximal value and the cuff pressure corresponding to the amplitude value, or based on the cuff pressure corresponding to the amplitude value. |
