PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid of a storage battery capable of joining with a battery case while attaining reduction in weight, a case of the storage battery having the lid, and the storage battery.SOLUTION: The lid 1 of the storage battery 100 includes a top plate section 14, and a rib section 15 formed so as to project to one direction side of the top plate section 14 and having a hollow section 20 of at least a part thereof. The hollow section 20 is arranged at a top plate section 14 side of the rib section 15.
