PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem TOFMS (time of flight mass spectrometer) capable of imparting a desired mass resolution to a first MS (mass analyzer) when using the TOFMS of which the flight distance is shorter than the flight distance to give desired mass resolution for the first MS.SOLUTION: A reflecting site which works as the reflecting site in the case of measuring mass spectrum by a first TOFMS and makes ions pass without reflecting the ions in the case of selecting precursor ions by the first TOFMS, is placed at an outlet of the first TOFMS. |
