PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operating environment by restraining dust-development during supply of cooling water, in a method for cooling a molten iron pre-treating slag with which after removing molten slag into a molten slag pan which is developed in the molten iron pre-treating process, this slag is transported to a slag-treating place and the cooling water is supplied into a molten slag pan and cooled.SOLUTION: A pair of first spray-nozzles 5, with which the water-spraying is performed in the range of the fixed angle in the horizontal direction, and a pair of second spray-nozzles 6, positioned in the lower part from the first spray-nozzles 5, and performing the water-spraying in the range of the fixed angle β in the vertical direction, are arranged, and preceding to the cooling with the water-supply from a water-supplying tube 1 into the molten slag pan 2, the water-spraying is performed from the respective spray-nozzles 5, 6. |
