The invention relates to an exhaust gas turbocharger (1), in particular for an internal combustion engine (2) of a motor vehicle, having a bearing housing (3) for supporting an impeller shaft (4); having a compressor housing (5) for receiving a compressor disc (6); having a clamping device (10) comprising a first arm section (11) and an engagement section (12), wherein the first arm section (11) contacts a surface (7) of the bearing housing (3) at least in sections, and having a counter-clamping device (20) comprising a head segment (21) and a counter-engagement section (22), wherein the head section (21) contacts a first surface (8) of the compressor housing (5) at least in sections, and wherein the counter-engagement section (22) can be brought into form-fit contact with the engagement section (12), such that the bearing housing (3) and the compressor housing (5) are connected to each other by means of a force fit.
