MASTER DEVICE, SLAVE DEVICE, METHOD OF SYNCHRONIZING TIME, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize a system containing a master device and a plurality of slave devices preventing a sync deviation between the devices from accumulating.SOLUTION: A master device and a slave device 1 measure a delay time in a frame transmission and reception. The slave device 1 calculates an offset time that represent a reconciling time of a sync frame from the reception time based on the delay time. Each slave device uses similar steps both for between the slave device 1 and the slave device 2 and between the slave device 2 and the slave device 3 to calculates the offset times. After that, the master device allows the sync frames to be transferred between the slave devices, and allows each slave device to derive a sync point through an addition of receiving time of the sync frames in each slave device and the offset times calculated by each slave device to synchronize the times of each slave device and the master device at the sync point.
