PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club capable of obtaining desired ball hitting sound even when a crown part has a complicated shape.SOLUTION: The golf club 8 includes a metallic club head 10 in a hollow structure. A crown part 16 includes: a crown front part 50 extending in a toe-heal direction along the top line 12a of a face part 12 on the back side of the top line; inclined parts 58, 60 inclined to the sole side from the crown front part to the back side; and planar parts 54, 56 recessed to the side of an internal space N on the back side of the crown front part 50. The average thickness of the crown part 16 is formed to be thinner than the average thickness of the face part 12 and the sole part 18. On the inner surface of at least one of the crown front part 50 and the planar parts 54, 56, ribs 62, 66 projected from the inner surface into the internal space N are formed. The inner surface of the inclined parts 58, 60 is formed by a smooth surface without ribs. |
