PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation in the image quality of a print, caused by nonuniform density resulting from a difference between the timings of discharging ink.SOLUTION: The printing device includes: an input section for inputting image data composing an image; a halftone processing section for generating dot data indicating whether to form a dot or not, based on the input image data; and a printing section by which, based on the generated dot data, dots are formed in a common printing area of a printing medium by discharging ink from a print head at different timings while changing an ink discharging position relative to the printing medium, and a print image formed by combining the dots formed at the different timings is output. At least in a predetermined printing gradation range. the halftone processing section generates the dot data by controlling the number of pair dots to be adjacent in a predetermined direction in which the dots are formed at different timings. |
