PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transfer throughput of transmission data on an annularly connected communication network.SOLUTION: In the case that a base transfer device on an annularly connected communication network determines transmission data received from a communication terminal as a reception confirmation signal, the base transfer device adds reverse route information indicative of transferring the transmission data through a second route to the transmission data and transfers the transmission data to the second route. In the case taht it is determined that the transmission data are not the reception confirmation signal, the transmission data are transferred to a first route. A transfer device stores a first routing table in the first route and a second routing table in the second route, refers to the second routing table to transfer the transmission data in the case that the reverse route information in contained in the received transmission data, and refers to the first routing table to transfer the transmission data in the case that the reverse route information is not contained.
