PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine which simply adjusts the amount of compressed air supplied to a cavity, and a method of modifying the same.SOLUTION: The gas turbine includes: a stationary section having a turbine casing space 35 in which gas flows; a rotary section connected to a rotor 7 rotating to the stationary section and rotating together with the rotor 7, with the cavity 51 formed between the same and the stationary section, in which gas of a lower pressure than the gas flowing inside the turbine casing space 35 flows; and a plurality of purge bolts 55 attached detachably in a plurality of through-holes, respectively, which are formed through the stationary section to bring the turbine casing space 35 in communication with the cavity 51. The purge bolt 55 is formed with a purge hole 56 penetrated from a turbine casing space 35 side to a cavity 51 side. |
