PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn end processing method using a swivel weave for improving production efficiency of yarn end processing and developing new use of the swivel weave.SOLUTION: A selvage texture is formed on both ends of a warp by using a swivel yarn as a kind of weft to prevent fray and cast-off of edge yarns of a woven fabric. The shooting number for the swivel yarn is preferably set to be equal to or smaller than the shooting number for the weft. Yarn end processing can be performed simultaneously with weaving of the fabric by forming the selvage texture with the swivel yarn to improve yarn end processing efficiency. Since the selvage texture is formed as a part of the woven fabric, the yarn is effectively utilized to improve economic efficiency. |
