PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor mainly used for an HDD, which is enables a manufacturing serial number to be read by preventing rise or warpage of a name plate, and has no possibility of failure in a set to which a magnetic storage unit is incorporated.SOLUTION: The motor has: a rotating hub 2; a magnet 3 rotating integrally with the hub 2; a wire assembly 8 at a position facing the magnet 3; a pedestal 10 having the wire assembly 8 fixed thereto; and an FPC 12 (flexible printed circuit) and the name plate 15 on an opposite surface of the pedestal 10 which faces the wire assembly 8. The FPC 12 and the name plate 15 are arranged so as not to overlap each other. |
