PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor suppressed in the maximum rotational swing amount by avoiding the resonance of a coil spring.SOLUTION: This hermetic compressor includes the coil spring 24 one end of which is press-fitted and fixed onto a shell snub bar 21 and the other end of which is loosely fitted onto a snub bar 23. The ratio of the portion of the shell snub bar 21 to the portion of the snub bar 23 which are allowed to come into contact with the effective winding part 32 of the coil spring 24 is within the range of approximately 70-80%, and a curve forming the contour of the outline of the snub bar 23 is formed gentler than a curve forming the contour of the outline of the shell snub bar 21. Consequently, the maximum rotational swing amount can be suppressed by avoiding the resonance of the coil spring 24. |
