PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressing device, compressing method, reproducing device and reproducing method for achieving reproduction faithful to a sound source during reproduction of compressed music data.SOLUTION: The reproducing device includes an input part for receiving the compressed music data to which additional information is added, a first decoder for decoding the compressed music data from the input part referring to the additional information, and an output part for outputting data decoded by the decoder. The compressed music data is music data constituted by a plurality of frames where silence data is added before and after music data. The additional information includes the number of frames of the music data other than the silence data and the number of samples of the music data included in the final frame. The first decoder decodes only a part of the music data from the compressed music data. |
