PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit emergency information to an emergency contact without notifying a third party about an emergency call.SOLUTION: A mobile terminal establishes communication with an emergency contact by transmitting information to the emergency contact. The mobile terminal accepts an operation to call another contact while the communication is established with the emergency contact. When the call operation to the other contact is accepted, the mobile terminal establishes communication with the other contact by changing a channel used for the communication with the emergency contact or using a channel other than the used channel while maintaining the established communication with the emergency contact.
