PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can cope with barrier-free requirements, makes the operation display part operable in a position lower than an original position of the operation display part or at an angle easy to operate by making an operation display part mounted with a wireless communication means with an image forming apparatus body detachable, and to display a state of devices of the image forming apparatus body or the like even if the operation display part is detached.SOLUTION: The operation display device 13 detachably attached to an image forming apparatus body 1, is mounted with an USB driver which can wirelessly communicate, and serves as an operation display part of the image forming apparatus body 1 when attached on the image forming apparatus body 1. When detached from the image forming apparatus body 1, the operation display device detects the detaching, wirelessly communicates operation input to the image forming apparatus body 1 via the USB driver, inputs information with respect to image forming in the image forming apparatus body 1 from the image forming apparatus body 1, and displays the same. |
