PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic imaging apparatus capable of obtaining a stereoscopic image suitable for a photographic scene.SOLUTION: A first imaging section 11R and a second imaging section 11L have single-eye 3D sensors 16R, 16L which include a plurality of pixel groups for respectively performing photoelectric conversion of luminous fluxes having passed through different regions of a pupil of combined photographing optical systems 12R, 12L for every pixel groups. An LSI 40M has a function of double-eye stereoscopic photography in which a viewpoint image obtained by the first imaging section 11R and a viewpoint image obtained by the second imaging section 11L are recorded in a medium 54 as a stereoscopic image and a function of single-eye stereoscopic photography in which a plurality of viewpoint images obtained by one of the imaging sections (for example 11R) out of the first imaging section 11R and the second imaging section 11L are recorded in the medium 54 as the stereoscopic image. |
