PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polymeric film excellent in processing suitability and rework characteristics with high production efficiency.SOLUTION: A casting film 32 is heated by first to third ducts 36-38 to dry. The casting film 32, whose temperature once decreased and then begins to increase upon such heating, is cooled by second roller 28 through a band 29 and retained within a defined temperature range. This temperature is continued to be retained by the third duct 38. The casting film 32, which has reached to the fourth position P4, is cooled by the first roller 27 through the band 29. Such cooling is conducted so that the casting film 32 solidifies without facilitating crystallization of the polymer. The casting film 32 is peeled from the band 29 while maintaining the temperature attained by cooling. The peeled wet film is dried by a tenter and a roller drying device to produce a film 23. |
