PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system that can readily notify evacuees that a fire brakes out or that the fire brakes out and an external power supply is disconnected at the same time, and can also emit light from a flickering light source for a long period of time, thereby improving reliability.SOLUTION: The lighting system 100 includes the flickering light source 5, a battery 22, a flickering light source charge control means 21, a signal input means 24, and a flickering control means 23 having an external power supply flickering control means 23c for controlling flickering of the flickering light source 5 by an external power supply 31 and a battery flickering control means 23b for controlling flickering of the flickering light source 5 by a battery 22, and controlling the flickering of the flickering light source 5 in different flickering control states by use of the external power supply 31 flickering control means 23c or the battery flickering control means 23b. Accordingly, the lighting system can readily notify the evacuees that a fire brakes out or that the fire brakes out and the external power supply is disconnected at the same time, and can emit light from the flickering light source 5 for a long period of time, thereby improving reliability. |
