PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unintended motion of a displayed object by rapidly detecting a state in which an operator becomes unable to operate an operating part.SOLUTION: The operation input unit 1 includes: a display 4; a head-mounted part 5 to be mounted on the head C of the operator B; the operating part 6 to which an operation signal for the displayed object 2 displayed in the display 4 is inputted by the operation by the operator B; relative position detecting means 8 and 12 for detecting the relative positions of the head-mounted part 5 and the operating part 6; and a control part 7 for controlling the displayed object 2 by switching between a first control mode to control the motion of the displayed object 2 according to the operation signal inputted to the operating part 6 and a second control mode to control the motion of the displayed object 2 by limiting the operation signal inputted to the operating part 6. |
