PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wedge drive-in device capable of efficiently performing wedging-up in low noise in fixing the discharge wire of the discharge electrode of an electric precipitator.SOLUTION: In the wedge drive-in device used in a construction method for boring a discharge electrode hole, which inserts a discharge wire in the frame part and horizontal pipe of the discharge electrode, in installing the discharge wire of the discharge electrode of the electric precipitator and fixing the discharge electrode hole and the discharge wire by a wedge, a cylinder head for pushing the wedge in the discharge wire, a piston rod for moving the cylinder head and a jack for subjecting the piston rod to piston motion are provided. The cylinder head and the piston rod are moved through a housing and the housing is equipped with a horizontal hole for permitting the frame part and the horizontal pipe to pass, a stand on which the frame part and the horizontal pipe are placed and a fixing metal fitting for fixing the housing. The shape of the cylinder head is formed so as to perform the wedging-up of the adjacent discharge wire holes by one operation. |
