PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting system for allowing the selective use of surface emission or point emission with easy operation.SOLUTION: The lighting system irradiates the side face of a light guide plate 60 with the irradiation light of an LED 51 to deliver surface-emitted illumination light from the light emission surface of the light guide plate. The light guide plate 60 is moved from a position in front of the LED 51 to deliver point-emitted illumination light via an opening portion 58 from the LED 51. When the light guide plate 60 is moved from the position in front of the LED 51, for example, a rib (72) protruded from the opposite face of a cover 70 covering a light emitting part 50 to the light emitting part 50 is used for depressing the light guide plate 60 to move the light guide plate 60 from the position in front of the LED 51. Thus, the point-emitted illumination light is delivered via the opening portion 58 from the LED 51. |
