PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily extract anchor points necessary for function approximation performed when converting a raster image to a vector image with the proper number of the points without missing, to improve the accuracy of vectorization, and to reduce a data amount while leaving the necessary anchor points.SOLUTION: A point that is a candidate of the anchor point is extracted from a coordinate point sequence obtained from the raster image, and an attribute representing a property of the point is outputted together. The attributes of the adjacent anchor point candidates are compared at the time of anchor point determination, and the anchor point candidates low in priority order are reduced. |
