摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire conductor for wiring which has conductivity at such a high level that it can be used for, for example, a power electric wire in an automobile, which is high in strength and elongation, and which is excellent in terminal crimping strength, impact rupture strength, and flexibility, and provide a method for manufacturing the electric wire conductor for wiring.SOLUTION: The electric wire conductor for wiring is formed by twisting a plurality of copper alloy wires each having a composition which contains 0.3-1.5 mass% Cr and 0.005-0.4 mass% Zr, and the balance consisting of Cu with inevitable impurities. This conductor has a tensile strength of 400 MPa or more and 650 MPa or less, an elongation of 7% or more at break, a conductivity of 65% IACS or more, a ratio of 0.2% proof stress to a tensile strength of 0.7 or more and 0.95 or less, and a work hardening exponent of 0.03 or more and 0.17 or less.
