PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust pressure of ink held in heads according to atmospheric pressure in a decompression chamber by a simple structure while arranging an ink tank outside the decompression chamber.SOLUTION: An ink jet printer includes a plurality of heads 32 for discharging the ink and a conveyance part for conveying base material inside the decompression chamber 12, and includes the ink tank 52 and a pressure adjustment part 6 for keeping difference between the pressure of the ink held in the heads 32 and the atmospheric pressure in the decompression chamber 12 constant outside the decompression chamber 12. The pressure adjustment part 6 is connected to the decompression chamber 12 through a pressure transmission pipe 121, and adjusts the pressure of the ink in an ink supply flow passage by referring the atmospheric pressure in the pressure transmission pipe 121, which can adjust the pressure of the ink held in the heads 32 according to the atmospheric pressure in the decompression chamber 12 with a simple structure while arranging the ink tank 52 outside the decompression chamber 12. |
