PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless alarm system that does not need to perform the function inspection of wireless communication when a display circuit displays a failure of the function inspection.SOLUTION: The wireless alarm system includes a plurality of alarms 10 to 13 that have batteries as power sources and wirelessly communicate with one another. At least one of the alarms 10 to 13 performs the function inspection of wireless communication with other alarms at predetermined timing and includes: a function inspecting unit for periodically performing at least one of the function inspection of a failure detecting unit for detecting the presence of a failure of a monitored area and the function inspection of the batteries; and a reporting means for reporting the failure so as to be distinguished when the function inspecting unit determines one of the inspection results from a plurality of the function inspections is abnormal. The function inspecting unit does not need to perform the function inspection of wireless communication when the function inspection of wireless communication with other alarms is performed at predetermined timing and one of the inspection results from the plurality of function inspections is abnormal. |
