PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce energy consumption in a wet image forming method.SOLUTION: A wet image forming apparatus 1A includes: a charging device 11 for charging a surface of a photoreceptor drum 10; an exposure device 12 for forming an electrostatic latent image on the charged surface of the photoreceptor drum 10; a liquid developing device 14 for developing the electrostatic latent image on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 10 by using a liquid developer; and a primary transfer roller 20 and a secondary transfer section 4 for transferring the developed image onto a recording medium. In the wet image forming apparatus 1A, the liquid developer is used which has an electrically insulating carrier liquid and colored particles dispersed in the carrier liquid and contains a copolymer containing a styrene macromonomer and a polyether methacrylate as polymerization components. |
