PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nameplate, in which the clear nameplate like a manuscript can be obtained in a simplified process, the production cost thereof can be reduced and a high-mix low-volume production can be adopted.SOLUTION: The method for producing the nameplate comprises: a step (A) of halfway cutting an adhesive film, which is obtained by forming a thermally-expansive adhesive layer, that comprises a thermally-expansive particle and an adhesive, and a separator in this order on a base material film, from the base material film side to the thermally-expansive adhesive layer; a step (B) of exfoliating the halfway-cut base material film and thermally-expansive adhesive layer from the separator and sticking the exfoliated adhesive film to an etching-undesired portion of a metal sheet; a step (C) of immersing the adhesive film-stuck metal sheet in an etching liquid to etch the adhesive film-unstuck portion of the metal sheet; and a step (D) of leaving the etched metal sheet as it is for five minutes or more in an environment of ≥100°C to naturally exfoliate the adhesive film from the metal sheet, performed in this order. |
