PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic that offers fresh and rich feeling at use, is excellent in penetration and emulsion stability and applies well onto the skin when applied via a sheet etc. impregnated therewith.SOLUTION: The oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic comprises (a) at least one 14-22C higher alcohol, (b) at least one hydrophilic polyoxyethylene alkyl ether and (c) at least one glycerol monoalkyl ether, provided that the alkyl moieties in (b) and (c) are linear saturated alkyl groups, and the molar concentrations of (a)-(c) satisfy the relation: [(b)+(c)]/(a)=from 0.1 to 1.0 and the relation: [(a)+(c)]/(b)=from 3 to 9. The cosmetic further comprises (d) an acrylic acid-alkyl methacrylate copolymer and has a viscosity of from 1,000 to 7,000 mPa s. |
