PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monofilament for weeding cords, excellent in heat resistance, durability and uniform bush-cutting, etc., and when applied to a rotor for weeding cords, causing no trouble such as mutual fusing of the cords in the rotor and their heat deterioration, and to provide a method for producing the monofilament.SOLUTION: The weeding cord is made up of polyamide monofilaments each with a melting point of 200-270°C, and the monofilament has a diameter of 1.5-3.5 mm and flexural hardness index of 0.05-0.25 cN/dtex. |
