PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating operation type electronic component with its operation knob which can sink below a pre-determined stroke length even when force is applied to an operation part from other directions than an axis line of a rotating shaft.SOLUTION: The rotating operation type electronic component 1 has flange parts 22f where an operating part 22a of the rotating shaft 22 engages an endmost periphery part of the stepped recessed parts 30a of the operation knob 30. The flange parts 22f regulates movement of the endmost periphery part of the operation knob 30 stepped recessed parts 30a from moving towards the axis line direction crossing the axis line of the rotating shaft 22 at right angles, when the operation part 22a of the rotating shaft 22 fractures. |
