<p>A method for managing services in a broadband network is provided in the present invention. The method includes: a service providing function entity inquires a policy server about the policy necessary in managing a user or a service (201); the policy server returns to the service providing function entity the policy of the user or the service (202); and the service providing function entity manages the user or the service according to the policy of the user or the service (203). A system for managing services in a broadband network and a policy server are also provided in the present invention. With the present invention, the management for the user or the service is implemented in the broadband network; meanwhile, the service providing function entity can manage the user or the service according to the real-time policy, therefore providing better service.</p> |
