FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: chain of double engagement for chain transmission contains links of chain. Links of the chain have at least one additional element. At rectilinear section of the chain the additional element facilitates simultaneous engagement with at least one sprocket and at least with another one sprocket. The engagement sprocket has similar configuration of teeth with sprockets of the chain. Points of force transfer from the chain to different sprockets and from different sprockets to the chain are in one plain with plane of chain motion and at least in one plain with sprockets of the chain.
