<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a skew amount of recording paper within a range capable of being absorbed by a nip part, absorb a difference between carrying speed and fixing speed, and therefore, prevent paper wrinkles caused by the skew amount and by the difference between the carrying speed and fixing speed. <P>SOLUTION: This fixing device is provided with a skew amount detecting means detecting the skew amount of recording paper 18 when the recording paper 18 advances toward a guide member 140; and an advancing speed adjusting means changing and adjusting the advancing speed of the recording paper 18 toward the nip part N so as to uniform the advancing speed in the width direction, based on the detection result of the skew amount detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
