A liner 14 for a paint tray (10, Fig.1) comprises a plurality of removable layers 34. Each layer 34 is removable to expose a clean layer 34. Each layer (34) is configured such that upon removal from an underlying layer 34 it is foldable to contain paint residue or debris. Each layer 34 may comprise at least one tab 26 to aid attachment to the Paint tray (10, Fig.1). Upon removal of a layer 34 the layer may be adapted to fold and the one or more tabs 26 may be adapted to adhere to the underside of the layer 34.
