摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor 1 of a rotating electric machine, wherein weight reduction and improvement of power generation capability are promoted.SOLUTION: The rotor 1 is formed by laminating a plurality of unit core layers 2 each having thin plate-like rotor cores 10, 11 in an axial direction. Also, a proportion (R2/R1) between a rotary diameter R1 of a claw magnetic pole 17 and an outer circumferential diameter R2 of a first yoke 15 is set at <0.54. Thus, since the magnetic flux of each of the unit core layers 2 can be uniformly dispersed, the magnetic path length of magnetic lines of force in each of the unit core layers 2 can be shortened without reducing a desired magnetic flux amount, compared to a case where a conventional thick rotor core is used. Accordingly, since magnetic reluctance is reduced, the total weight of the rotor cores 10, 11 is further reduced than the conventional thick rotor core to achieve weight reduction or increase the magnetic flux amount to improve the power generation capability.
