PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cleaning material capable of well keeping a contact state between a conductive substance and a metal iron with no carbon fiber, over a long period while removing an environmental pollution substance such as phosphorus from environmental water, using the conductive substance and the metal iron.SOLUTION: The water cleaning material is composed of a conductive elastic substance and the metal iron. The elastic substance has a volume resistivity of not more than 10Ω cm and an elastic modulus of not more than 5 GPa. At least a part of the elastic substance is in contact with a part of the metal iron. |
