PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent image by efficiently stirring density variable ink stored in an ink container abandoned for a long time. SOLUTION: An diaphragm valve is provided between an ink tank and recording head, and an ink flow is generated in the ink tank by opening and closing the valve. Two independent connection ports is provided in the bottom end part side of the ink tank, and a structure to throttle a flow above the ports. A flow through the whole of the ink tank with an small amount of coming and going ink by throttling an upward flow, thereby eliminating the density variation caused by sedimentation.
