<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device (607) has a tubular geometry delimited by transversal inlet and outlet faces (608, 609) forming an axial channel (612), where the device is made of rubber. The channel passes a pressurized gaseous refrigerant via a radial outer face (610) connecting the faces (608, 609). The outer face is in cylindrical part to engage a duct. A ratio between minimal passage section of the channel and the minimal transversal section of the outer face ranges between 0.05-0.75. An inner face has axial sections (611b, 611c) respectively converging and diverging from the inlet face to the outlet face. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for being mounted inside a pressurized supercritical or gaseous refrigerant duct, that is utilized in an air-conditioning circuit (claimed) for conveying a pressurized gaseous refrigerant e.g. R134a and carbon dioxide, between a compressor and an evaporator of a motor vehicle, for attenuating sound wave generated by the compressor. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The ratio between minimal passage section of the channel and the minimal transversal section of the outer face ranges between 0.05-0.75, thus obtaining a satisfactory acoustic attenuation in the air-conditioning circuit even in high sound frequencies ranging between 50-4000 Hertz. The device can be inserted into the duct via the radial outer face in order to form a unique flow of the refrigerant in the duct.
