The device has a U-shaped support frame (20) for retaining a household appliance (12), and a rear wall (50) arranged at a rear side of the frame, where the wall is formed as a plane plate and fastened at the frame. The wall forms a housing for the appliance together with the frame. A fastening unit (23) is formed at two opposite arms (22) of the U-shape of the frame for retaining the appliance. The fastening unit has an angular profile for forming a standing surface for the appliance. The frame is made of a composite material that contains a polyurethane layer between aluminum plates.
