It is disclosed a node (N) for a communication network. The node (N) comprises n interfaces (IF1,...,IFn) aggregated so as to form a link aggregation group (100) configured to transmit a traffic flow (TF), n being an integer equal to or higher than 2. The n interfaces (IF1,...,IFn) have n respective bandwidths (BW1,...,BWn). The node (N) further comprises a divider (D) configured to share the traffic flow among the n interfaces (IF1,...,IFn). The node (N) further comprises a control logic (CL) configured to, when at least one of the n bandwidths (BW1,...,BWn) has a first value (B) and at least one of the n bandwidths has a second value (B+”B;Bf) different from the first value (B), determine a minimum bandwidth (BWmin) as a minimum among the n bandwidths (BW1,...BWn). The control logic (CL) is further configured to instruct the divider (D) to share the traffic flow (TF) among the n interfaces (IF1,...,IFn) assuming that the n respective bandwidths (BW1,...,BWn) are equal to the minimum bandwidth (BWmin).
