<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image recording characteristics of an optical disk drive in which an image can be recorded by a laser beam to an image recording layer disposed on a label face. <P>SOLUTION: An objective lens L which is displaceably supported is included into a signal reproduction operation position where a laser beam radiated from a laser diode 1 is converged to a signal recording layer and an image recording operation position where the laser beam is converged to the image recording layer of the optical disk placed front side rear. An aberration correction element 5 which corrects the spherical aberration generated during image recording operation is included into the optical pickup device, and the image is formed by a spot in which the spherical aberration is corrected by the aberration correction element 5 included in the optical pickup device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
