PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which allows reliable setting of the kind of cell to be used in a very simple structure. SOLUTION: On a cell mounting part 20 in which the cells 8A and 8B are installed, a switch is disposed which is switched on when the cells to be installed are alkali cells and switched on when the cells to be installed are nickel-hydrogen cells. The switch is constituted of a slide switch having a slide knob 31. The cell mounting part has a structure in which a cell lid 22 cannot be closed when the slide knob is at the center position, and can be closed when the slide knob is at a position of setting the kind of cell. By this structure, since the cell lid cannot be closed without setting the kind of cell, setting of the kind of cell is invariably conducted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
