<p>A spinal implant is disclosed. The spinal implant comprises a first component, a second component, a core and a tether. The first component comprises a first exterior surface configured for engaging a first vertebra, and a first interior surface opposing the first exterior surface. The second component comprises a second exterior surface configured for engaging a second vertebra, and a second interior surface opposing the second exterior surface. The core is configured to interface with the first interior surface and the second interior surface, and the tether configured to contact the first component and the second component. The tether is material for maintaining the core in place between the first and second components, and the tether is not configured to attach to the first component or the second component.</p> |
