<p>The workpiece transporting device (1) has two continuous circulation elements (11,12) extending as a closed ring for transporting of workpieces (5). The workpieces are passed in a specific direction, and are driven partially parallel to each other. A main drive (21) is provided for driving the former continuous circulation element. An auxiliary drive (31) is provided for driving or braking the former continuous circulation element.
