The light (1) has an illuminant arranged within a glass shield (2) and at a reflector lamp. The glass shield is implemented as a planar glass panel having a recess. The reflector lamp is embedded into the recess. The glass shield is composed of ferric oxide-poor glass. The thickness of the glass panel is slightly larger than the diameter of the reflector lamp. The width of the recess is slightly larger than the diameter of the reflector lamp. An independent claim is also included for a combination of a light and an object.
